Meet Recap

Today the High School Cross Country Team ran in the Wayne County Championships at Willow Metropark. The field was full of the best teams in Wayne County and all Divisions ran together, which made the competition even more tough, but as a team, this was our best showing yet this season! Almost our entire team ran either a personal record or a season best time. The girl’s team only had four Varsity runners today, so they were unable to score as a team, but were very successful individually.

Haille Grajek ran a personal record, breaking 22 minutes, with a time of 21:57. Selena Ingram ran a PR with a time of 23:22, breaking her previous best time by almost 1 minute! Lauren Druyor ran a season best time of 23:35 and Adrianna Torres ran a PR with a time of 24:18, beating her previous best by over 40 seconds! In the Girl’s JV race, Willow Barnes broke 30 minutes, running her best time of 29:27!
